The Marshall Tucker Band performs National Anthem at SF Giants home opener

The legendary southern rockers were on-hand to perform the national anthem at the San Francisco Giants’ home opener against the Colorado Rockies (view the anthem performance HERE).


The Giants tapped the MTB to perform the anthem likely due to their star athlete’s love for the group.  Last year, the Giants’ starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner began using the band’s “Fire On The Mountain” as his fight song when headed to the pitcher’s mound.  Following the anthem, the band performed the hit song as Bumgarner made his way to the mound.
